Game Day Magic

It’s more than high-fives and handshakes — it’s smiles, confidence, and the kind of role-model moments our kids will remember forever. On Fridays in the fall, our football boys line the halls to cheer on the elementary kids, and our cheerleaders spread the energy through the junior high & high school. The little ones look up to them, the older ones feed off the energy, and our athletes are reminded why they play — for their school, their teammates, and their community.

Jazz Band State Champions

In April 2025, the Belmond-Klemme High School Jazz Band captured the Class 2A State Championship title, showcasing their exceptional talent and dedication. Among the standout achievements, two of our musicians earned Outstanding Performer awards: Andrick Rodriguez on bass and Callum Sifert on drums. Andrick was further honored as the Outstanding Overall Performer across all classes—selected from over 1,200 musicians statewide. Congratulations to our incredible jazz band!

BK Esports State SSBU Class 1A State Champs 2025

Beyond the controllers and competition, it’s focus, teamwork, and pride in representing something bigger than themselves. This championship season tells a powerful story: an undefeated run without dropping a single map, two BK layer finishing among the top 8 in the state, and a title earned after years of state appearances. Every practice, every match, and every moment of trust built between teammates led to this achievement. The BK Esports team showed that success comes from discipline, communication, and supporting one another, proving that leadership and school pride thrive in every arena.

BELMOND-KLEMME COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL ROOF PROJECT NOTICE OF LETTING

Time and Place for Filing and Opening of Sealed Bid Proposals

NOTICE OF LETTING Section 001110 - Page 1 SECTION 00 11 10

Sealed bids will be received at the Belmond-Klemme Community School District Administration Office located at 303 East Main Street, Belmond, IA 50421, until 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 7, 2026, for the proposed Junior-Senior High School 2027 Roofing projects as described herein and in the plans and specifications which will be on file in the Belmond-Klemme Community School District Office at the address listed above; Denovo, 300 4th Street, West Des Moines, IA 50265; and Studio Melee, 139 4th Street, West Des Moines, IA 50265. Bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 13, 2026, in the Belmond-Klemme CSD conference room located at 303 East Main Street, Belmond, IA 50421.

This project is being implemented through Denovo of West Des Moines, IA, as Construction Manager. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 5% in the form of a bid bond, cashier’s check, or certified check in the same amount. Construction of the Junior-Senior High School 2027 Roofing projects for the Belmond-Klemme Community School District. The intention is to award and issue notice to proceed by October 21, 2026. All bid documents may be obtained from either Denovo, Studio Melee, or under the following conditions: Plans and specifications will be available at qualified plan houses and by contacting Beeline & Blue, 2507 Ingersoll Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50312 – www.beelineandblue.com . Qualified plan houses receive all branch sets free of charge, provided they log all usage of the documents and return them within ten (10) days after bidding. The Contract Documents are available from Denovo upon request. The right to reject any or all bids and to waive and irregularities is reserved by the Belmond-Klemme Community School District Board of Education.
